UTR share bada music video
With the release of their infectious debut single release last month and second single 'Weekend' on the way, Tāmaki Makaurau pop-punkers Club Ruby dial up the excitement with the unveiling of their debut music video for 'BADA' ("you’re Born Alone and you Die Alone and that’s good enough for me, so I hope it’s good enough for you too"), directed by Nguyening Productions. Fronted by Jade Lewis, with bandmates Hon Manawangphiphat, Sophie Gibson, Jonathan Meyer and Josh Johnston, the clip features members Jade and Hon making a trip to CVS pharmacy, taking part in a half in-person, half Zoom-held band performance — sporting shots that demonstrate the songs message of spending time alone, celebrating a "party for two, with me, and me, and not you.'"
Club Ruby are celebrating their new releases at The Wine Cellar on 30th June, presenting ADHDiaries with fellow locals Sophie Gibson and Kin Kachow. Named so "because all the leads of the acts are diagnosed with ADHD", the event marks the launch of the first episode of the ADHDiaries podcast, talking "all things diagnosis." Watch this space...
